L’événement Cap Santé a été créé par la Ligue Contre le Cancer des Hauts de Seine. J’ai participé à la création de cette étude et donc je vous invite à répondre au questionnaire qui nous permettra de mieux comprendre le cancer dans le monde de l’entreprise. Le plus grand nombre de personnes répondront à ce questionnaire, le mieux la Ligue Contre le Cancer pourra agir pour améliorer la vie au travail des malades atteints du cancer et de leurs proches. Workshop Create et Conférence EHPS
Je serai présente à la prochaine conférence de l’EHPS (European health psychology society) et je participerai à deux workshops: le workshop CREATE: Communication des risques et perception des risques (Risk communication and risk perception) et le workshop portant sur “Comment écrire un article qui sera beaucoup cité et que faire quand l’article est rejeté” (Writing a highly cited article and what to do when one is rejected)
cette conférence aura lieu à Bath (United Kingdom) du 6 au 12 septembre.

Voici la dernière réponse suite à des “abstract” que j’ai envoyé en proposant ma candidature pour des colloques.
Je présenterai une présentation affichée lors du XXIX international congress of psychology (ICP) à Berlin du 20 au 25 juillet 2008. Cette présentation avait pour titre “Psycho-social and developmental determinants of health risk behaviour” Bazillier, C., Verlhiac, J-F, Mallet, P.
le résumé soumis était le suivant (maximum 100 mots)
The aim of our communication is to present the first results of a longitudinal study, which is designed: (a) to measure the effects of a program intended to prevent children from smoking and eating misbehaviors; and (b) to examine several factors that are expected to mediate the effects of this prevention program. We used a pre-test, post-test and control group method. The participants are 1,000 eight-to-eleven -year-old children leaving in the suburb of Paris. The research is in progress and we will be able to communicate the first results during the congress.

La communication s’intitule ” An attempt to evaluate a prevention school program“. Bazillier, C., Verlhiac, J-F, Mallet, P.
Le résumé qui a été proposé est le suivant:
Although for several decades numerous health prevention programs targeted French children, very few research assessed the outcomes of these programs. The aim of our communication is to present the first results of a longitudinal study, which is designed a) to measure the effects of a program intended to prevent children from smoking and eating misbehaviors and (b) to examine several factors that are expected to mediate the effects of this prevention program. This program relies on specific thematic sessions (tobacco or eating) implemented during school class, is developed by one of the most important French associations that collect funds to fight against cancer and targets 8-to-11-year-old children, The participants are a thousand 8-to-11-year-old children leaving in the suburb of Paris who are participating in the first wave of the study, and are expected to participate in the 2008/2009 and 2009/2010 waves. We study a range of psycho-social and developmental determinants, assessed through a self report questionnaire and notably: attitudes, knowledge about tobacco and nutrition, health beliefs, peer pressure and parental supervision, behavioral intention, self report behavior and peer affiliation. Measures of these determinants will be done four times in three years so that we can measure their evolution. We use a pre-test, post-test and control group method. There are three experimental group in which the number of intervention courses vary and one control group. We will be able to present the first results of this study during the EAESP congress.
